Allyson Felix

Allyson Michelle Felix was born in Los Angeles on November 18 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix is a minister who was ordained by Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a teacher of primary schools in Balboa Magnet. Felix was aware that she had an aptitude to run when she was a student at Los Angeles Baptist High School. She finished second in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships after only 10 weeks after the first time she tried out. In 2003 Felix completed her high school graduation and signed a professional deal with the company that makes sports Adidas prior to matriculating at the University of Southern California where she completed her elementary education. Felix won her first Olympic Medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics which took place in Athens Greece. She broke a Junior World Record by sprinting 200 meters in 22.18 seconds. The year 2005 was the time she became the youngest world champion of 200 meters at the Helsinki World Championships. She defended this title in 2007, beating her former Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix was consistently in the top third of each of her races in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
